Two Typhoons currently active over Western North Pacific

Typhoon  Lekima, located about 275 nm SSW of Kaldena AB was moving NW at 7 knots with max winds to 110 knots  and significant wave heights to 39 feet.  Conditions favor some additional strengthening and Lekima could reach max winds of 120-130 knots over the 24 hours as it passes north of Taiwan.

Typhoon Krosa, located about 182 nm south of Iwo To was moving NNW at 4 knots with max winds to 70 knots and significant wave heights to 28 feet.  Krosa is also under favorable conditions  and could reach max winds of 80-90 knots over the next 48 hours.
