The Department of Atmospheric Science Colorado State University has issued its \u201cExtended Range Forecast for the 2020 Atlantic Hurricane Season.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The outlook anticipates that the 2020 Atlantic basin hurricane season will have above-normal activity. The report points to the current warm neutral ENSO conditions to likely transition to cool neutral ENSO or potentially even weak La Ni\u00f1a conditions by this summer and\/or \/fall with sea surface temperatures over most of the tropical Atlantic warmer than normal.\u00a0 \"\"<\/a>
