North Atlantic, northeast of Newfoundland, will deepen to a 928 mb hurricane-force storm by 1200 UTC 7th off the southeast coast of Greenland with winds up to 90 knots possible between the Greenland coast and the low center.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0 Significant wave heights could build up to 18 meters (59 feet).<\/span><\/p>\n<p>By comparison, he <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Braer_Storm\">Braer storm of January 1993<\/a> was the deepest ever recorded cyclone outside of the Tropics with a minimum core pressure of 914 mb.<\/p>\n<div this?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Each winter season has, on average, about 37 non-tropical hurricane force wind events occur over the North Pacific and about 45 events over the North Atlantic. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ocean.weather.gov\/index.php\"><b>NOAA Ocean Prediction Center<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0 issues a <\/span><b>\u201cHurricane Force Wind Warning\u201d<\/b> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0when sustained winds, or frequent gusts, of 64 knots (74 mph) or greater, either predicted or occurring, and not directly
